Stayed here as part of a cycling tour group, and was amazed at what a find it was. Eric and Pauline are perfect hosts, and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are large, well furnished and very comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the showers, a snooker room, and plenty of space for bikes and parking.
Not the easiest place to find, but the reward is worth the effort when you do arrive. The evening meal was home cooked by Pauline, and was excellent. Very tasty, and plenty of it to go around. Eric is one of the leading Alpine guides in France, and does not speak much English, but both he and Pauline are very friendly and make every effort to make you feel welcome as more like family then guests. The breakfast was more then adequate for getting off to a good start for a day cycling Alpe D’Huez (which is right nearby), and it was a sad farewell we bade when it was time to depart. If every place in France was like this, I would visit and stay forever! Highly recommend that you make the effort to find and stay at this wonderful place, with wonderful people.
