Inside the heart of the French Alps, is the region of Oisans, a 15 mile area containing a glacial valley, picturesque rivers, and breathtaking mountains. The vegetation is lush all summer. It is a spectacular area for walking and hiking along beautiful, scenic paths.

The region is surrounded by the four mountain peaks, “Le Taillefair” 2850m, “ Belledonne” (2977m), “Les Ecrins” (4102m), and “Les Grandes Rousses” (3465m). The steep, rugged mountains create tremendous contrast where the steep cliffs meet the valley floor. These conditions make the region a perfect training or vacation destination for both the serious athlete and the recreationist.
